The new future TV “ABEMA” will broadcast Japan’s most significant anime award, “Japan Anime Trend Award 2023,” on the “Anime SPECIAL Channel” from 20:00 on December 27th. During the program, ABEMA will hold a “Japan Anime Trend Awards Ceremony” where ABEMA will conduct a rigorous review based on data compiled by each major media and announce the award-winning works in each category. The Anime News Award will go to “Detective Conan the Movie.”
In “Japan Anime Trend Awards 2023”, we will look back at the trends of 2023 and also introduce famous works of 2024. The main MCs will be Yuki Iwai of Haraichi, Yusuke Inoue of NONSTYLE, Mukai Amatsu, and Murakami of Magical Lovely. Misato Ugaki will be the host, and the guests will be Sayuri Matsumura, Shogo from Tokyo Hotison, Mao Mita, and Sekai from EXILE/FANTASTIC.
