Kensho Ono x Yoshimasa Hosoya, ‘The Tale of the Heike’ and ‘Inuou no Maki’ reading drama at Nishi Hongwanji Temple in Kyoto

A newly shot visual for the reading drama “THE CLASSIC ~The World of ‘Heike Monogatari’ and ‘Inuoh no Maki'” starring Kensho Ono and Yoshimasa Hosoya has been unveiled.

This recitation play is based on the classic “Heike Monogatari” and the original “Heike Monogatari Inuoh no Maki” (written by Hideo Furukawa) of Masaaki Yuasa’s theatrical animation adaptation of “The Tale of the Heike”.

It is held in the National Treasure “Kou no Ma” (Nishi Hongwanji Temple). A talk session by the performers is also scheduled after the reading session.

There will be two performances on October 30th at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Performance time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ticket prices are 7,700 yen for S seats and 5,500 yen for A seats (all seats are reserved).
