‘Korean Wave’ Collaboration webtoon with ENHYPEN becomes anime, premieres in Japan

‘Tokyo Yonhap News’ The Japan premiere of the anime adaptation of the webtoon (vertical scrolling manga) “Black Moon: Altar of the Moon,” a collaboration with the Korean boy band ENHYPEN, was held at a cinema in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on the 28th. After the screening, seven ENHYPEN members and six leading voice actors took the stage to deliver speeches.

The 12-episode series will air in Japan on TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV starting next month on the 9th. According to production company Aniplex, the series will air in Korea, North America, and Europe 90 minutes after the Japanese broadcast. It will also be available on Netflix and Hulu from next month on the 13th.

The webtoon “Black Moon: Altar of the Moon” is an original story planned and developed by the comprehensive entertainment company HYBE, depicting a group of vampire boys and a certain girl.
