To celebrate the 5th anniversary of BS12 TwellV’s “Sunday Anime Theater,” a “Leiji Matsumoto Special” will be held in October. Four anime works based on Matsumoto’s original works will be broadcast over four consecutive weeks.
Today, October 5th, the “Galaxy Express 999” movie will be broadcast, followed by “Galaxy Express 999: Andromeda Terminus” on October 12th, “Arcadia of My Youth” on October 19th, and “The Millennium Queen” on October 26th, all at 7 pm. The “Galaxy Express 999” movie was the first to air on “Sunday Anime Theater.”
Five people who follow the official BS12 Anime account (@BS12_anime) and repost eligible posts will be entered into a drawing to win a copy of the “Leiji Matsumoto Exhibition: A Journey of Creation Official Catalog.” Additionally, if you post a comment during the broadcast with the hashtag “#NihonAni5thAnniversary,” 40 people will be entered into a lottery to win a 1,000 yen Amazon gift card.
