It has been announced that season 1 of the TV anime “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (Kisekoi),” based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda currently being serialized in “Young Gangan” (Square Enix), will be rebroadcast starting in April. It will be broadcast every Friday at midnight on TOKYO MX and other stations.
A stage event for the series will be held at the Aniplex booth at AnimeJapan 2025, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from 4:30 pm on March 23rd. Titled “Sono Bisque Doll wa Radio wo Suru In AnimeJapan 2025 ~ It’s been 3 years since my last AnimeJapan, and I’m excited!!~” Naota Himena, who voices Kitagawa Marin, and Ishige Shoya, who voices Gojo Niina, will be on stage. During the event, the radio program “Sono Bisque Doll wa Radio wo Suru (Kise Raji)” will be “revived” for the first time in about 2 years.
“Kise Koi” has been serialized in “Young Gangan” since 2018. It is a romantic comedy depicting the love story between Gojo Niina, a high school boy training to become a head maker who makes faces for Hina dolls, and Kitagawa Marin, a gal and cosplayer who loves anime and games. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 12 million.
Season 1 of the TV anime aired from January to March 2022. A live-action drama starring Nagase Riko and Nomura Kota aired from October to December and is also becoming a hot topic. Season 2, a sequel to the TV anime, will air in 2025.
