It has been decided that a new anime will be produced for the TV anime “My Happy Marriage.” This was announced when the final episode of the second season of this work, which has been broadcast and distributed since January 6, 2025, was broadcast on April 9.
Along with this announcement, visuals commemorating the decision to produce a new work and illustrations celebrating the final episode from original illustrator Tsukioka Tsukiho and comicist Takasaka Rito have arrived.
The announcement states it is a “new anime,” and the release medium has not been announced. Attention is focused on whether it will be a TV series, a standalone OVA, or a theatrical release. “My Happy Marriage is based on the novel by author Akumi Aoki, and the total number of copies of the series, including comics and electronic versions, exceeds 9 million.
The first season received a great response, and the second season attracted a lot of attention, leading to the decision to produce a new anime.
The original author, Akumi Aoki, commented with the announcement, “Thank you to everyone who watched the second season of the anime ‘My Happy Marriage’ until the end!! The second season is a series of fast-paced developments that you can’t take your eyes off of, and just like the first season, it feels like it rushed through to the final episode in the blink of an eye.
However, have you noticed? The title ‘Happy Marriage’ hasn’t been resolved yet. So, the anime isn’t over yet! I’m grateful that I can watch the rest and look forward to it, too. Once again, I’d like to thank everyone involved in the work, who watched it and loved it!” Future information about the new anime will occasionally be released on the official website and various SNS accounts.
The advanced cut of the final episode 26 was released.
