The second promotional video and key visual for the TV anime Blue Miblo, based on Yasuda Takeshi’s original work, have been released.
The second promotional video, “A Life-risking Youth Begins,” shows the Shinsengumi in action. The video also features the chorus of the opening theme, “Blue,” by SPYAIR. The second key visual shows the main character, Oga, swinging a wooden sword.
Oga swings his wooden sword with single-minded determination, dripping with sweat. The blue sky in the background makes for an impressive visual. “Blue Miblo” is set in Kyoto during the late Edo period and tells the story of the youth of the Mibu Roshi Group, who later became the Shinsengumi.
The story begins when Chirinunio, a boy who is close to his grandmother and always has a smile on his face, meets the Mibu Roshi-gumi, commonly known as Miburo, the most substantial group of swordsmen, who would later become known to the world as the Shinsengumi. It will be broadcast nationwide on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks from the evening of October 19th.
