‘Oshi no Ko’ unit B-Komachi to hold first virtual live tour; anime season 3 to air in 2026

The first virtual live concert for the TV anime series “Oshi no Ko,” “B Komachi Live Tour 2026 – Beyond the Brilliance Virtual Live -,” was announced on September 14.

The concert will be held in Aichi on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, 2026, in Osaka on Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th, and in Tokyo on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th. The live event will feature the idol unit B Komachi (Hoshino Ruby, Arima Kana, MEMcho), who appear in the series, as 3D models. A teaser video featuring the three members was also released to coincide with the information release.

New songs and original stories will be featured in B Komachi’s first virtual live performance. In addition to popular B-Komachi songs such as “Sign wa B” and “POP IN 2,” the “B-Komachi Live Tour 2026” will also feature the announcement of a new song created specifically for the live concert. Furthermore, a completely original story supervised by the original author, Akasaka Aka, will also be unveiled.

Additionally, the official “Oshi no Ko” YouTube channel has launched a collaborative project called “MEMcho’s Room ~The Road to the B-Komachi Live Tour~,” which is a link to the video content “MEMcho’s Room” featuring B-Komachi member MEMcho. The first episode was released on September 14th, providing an overview of the live venue and an announcement that “the new song audio will be released during this project.” Tickets for the concert are scheduled to go on sale in December.

“Oshi no Ko” is a manga written by Akasaka Aka, the author of ” Kaguya-sama: Love is War,” and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, known for works such as “Scum’s Wish.” It combines multiple elements: a fantasy about being reincarnated as the child of one’s favorite idol, a tale of revenge in pursuit of one’s parents’ nemesis, a suspenseful story depicting the light and dark sides of the entertainment industry, and a romantic comedy. It has become so popular that it has become a social phenomenon.

A TV anime adaptation will begin airing in 2023. The opening theme, “Idol,” by YOASOBI, was also a global hit. A second season is scheduled to air in 2024, with the third season planned for 2026.
