To commemorate the 6th anniversary of the anime “Osomatsu-san”, the movie version “Eiga no Osomatsu-san” will be re-screened. From March 11, it will be released for a week at seven theatres nationwide.
The screening theatres are Tokyo / Shinjuku Piccadilly, Saitama / MOVIX Saitama, Kanagawa / Kawasaki Cinecitta, Aichi / Midland Square Cinema, Osaka / Namba Parks Cinema, Fukuoka’s T-Joy Hakata, Hokkaido / Sapporo Cinema Frontier. Tickets are regular rates.
As gifts for visitors, masking tape using the 18-year-old version of the six-child illustration will be distributed on the first day of the re-screening on March 11, and certain goods such as original stickers will be distributed on the 12th to 17th (both are limited to first-come-first-served basis and will disappear). It will end as soon as possible. One gift will be given for each viewing). In Shinjuku Piccadilly, Tokyo, a photo session corner will be set up for 18-year-old six children after the screening on March 14.
“Osomatsu-san” depicts the self-degrading daily life of the Matsuno family’s six children, set in the present age when the character of the late Fujio Akatsuka’s masterpiece gag manga “Osomatsu-Kun” has grown up. The first period of TV animation was broadcast from October 2015 to March 2016. The second period was published from October 2017 to March 2018. The third period was broadcast from October 2008 to March 2009. The monthly release of “Eiga no Osomatsu-san” revealed the high school days of six children. Celebrating its 6th anniversary on October 6, 2009, a new animation will be released in theatres for the second consecutive year of 22nd and 23rd.
Also, on March 25, the live-action version of “Movie Osomatsu-san” starring the idol group “Snow Man” will be released. An anime version of the six children will appear at the opening.
