An exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the popular TV anime ” Ojamajo Doremi ” began in Fukuoka City on the 20th. “Ojamajo Doremi” is the story of a group of apprentice witches who train hard to become fully-fledged witches. It aired on TV for four years starting in 1999.

The “Ojamajo Doremi 25th Anniversary Memorial Exhibition,” which opened at the JR Kyushu Hall in Fukuoka City’s Hakata Ward, is an interactive exhibit that immerses visitors in the series’ world.

The exhibit features a classroom where visitors can feel like classmates with the main characters, as well as an experience area recreating the “witch world,” all of which are freely accessible for photo-taking.

A female visitor commented, “I always watched the show with the feeling that I wanted to become a witch,” and “I want to forget about my daily life and have fun.” Additionally, a special photo session with the main character, Doremi, will be held for three days only at the Fukuoka venue. The “Ojamajo Doremi 25th Anniversary Memorial Exhibition” will run until Monday, January 12th (national holiday) next year.
