by Entertainment Weekly reports that the adult anime Sausage Party (2016), an R-rated movie full of dirty jokes, will be made into a series for Amazon Prime Video.
“Sausage Party” is an anime for adults full of dirty jokes and brutal depictions, depicting the food ingredients displayed in the supermarket rebelling against humans. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, known for “Superbad Virgin Wars” and “Smoking High,” are drafting, writing, and producing.
Amazon is currently preparing a TV anime adaptation of Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which will bring back the original voice cast, including Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, and David Krumholtz.
Rogen and Goldberg have issued a statement.
“Cinema was once a better art form than television, and we reached the pinnacle of it with the great blockbuster Sausage Party. Now that I’ve become the king of the world, I’ve decided to continue the ingredients’ epic adventure with the legendary TV version of ‘Sausage Party. ‘”
“Sausage Party: Foodtopia” will be released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in 2024.
