The announcement of part 3 of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War came immediately after the suspenseful conclusion of the second season.
One of the most popular anime series of 2023 was Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. Following an intensely dramatic and emotional conclusion, Studio Pierrot has already revealed the next installment, which will be called The Separation.
The well-known manga Bleach by Tite Kubo has been adapted into a film called Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War. The original anime, which ran from October 2004 to March 2012, ended without incorporating the manga’s last arc. It makes sense that when a new anime emerged to complete the project in 2022, fans of the franchise were overjoyed.
There are four parts to the series, and because the first two are already finished, the second is slowly coming along and will undoubtedly be the main attraction in the anime-heavy year of 2024.
Bleach Will Make Its Return In 2024 With Part 3 Of Thousand-Year Blood War
A stunning and dramatic preview for the next third chapter of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict was released by Viz Media’s official X account. In the most anticipated fight since Yhwach versus Yamamoto, the main antagonist Yhwach and Squad Zero captain Ichibe square off in a minute-long teaser. The preview also shows Ichigo and his group charging into the Soul King’s fortress, which promptly crumbles. The highly anticipated sequel is done justice in this teaser, which also does a fantastic job of depicting the impending brutality and action.
What Will the Story Be in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3?
The second chapter of Thousand-Year Blood War concluded with Senjumaru Shutara, the last member of Squad Zero still alive, seemingly defeating Yhwach’s most skilled warriors. Ichibe and the other members of the group had all committed suicide so that Senjumaru Shutara might wield Bankai in a sequence not included in the manga. Uryu, who had sided with the Quincy against the Soul Society, was one of Yhwach’s elite. While all of this was going on, Ichibe was fighting Yhwach and weakening the nearly unbeatable villain with his own “Bankai” counterpart.
As the battle with Yhwach was still very much up in the air at the end of part 2, part 3 is probably going to continue up virtually exactly where part 2 left off. It’s safe to assume that Ichigo and his pals will make it to the Soul King’s Palace given that they were depicted there in the trailer; however, it’s unclear if they will do so in time to aid in Yhwach’s defeat.
From the manga, it appears that Yhwach’s elite warriors still have hope, although it’s difficult to tell because of how much the anime has changed from the plot of the book. It appears almost clear that Uryu will play a larger part in the unfinished plot, which is why their escape from Senjumaru’s pocket dimensions is necessary. That’s not good news for Senjumaru, and it might depend on Ichigo and his comrades’ exact arrival time in the Soul King’s Palace.
After Part 3, Will Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Continue?
The majority of supporters anticipate that Thousand-Year Blood War will go on into a fourth installment. The manga has 686 chapters total, with Part 2 ending at chapter 610. That is more than the 13 episodes each cour that fans were treated to in parts 1 and 2, even at the breakneck speed of 5 chapters per episode. Additionally, it has been revealed that Tite Kubo has been collaborating with Studio Pierrot to add to the information omitted from the Bleach manga, suggesting that a slower pace is more likely as a result of the volume of new content.
It’s hard to say for sure what part 4 of Thousand-Year Blood War will look like because of how abrupt the Bleach manga ends, which is also where the largest alterations are likely to be noticed. Fans are undoubtedly hoping for some significant adjustments that would elevate the series’ conclusion to the level of one of manga’s Big Three. Part 4 is expected to be issued by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, based on the current rate of release, even though part 3’s release date has not yet been announced.
Following the amazing heights of the first two chapters, fans of Thousand-Year Blood War are incredibly excited to finally get their hands on Part 3. While there are still some unanswered uncertainties regarding the lack of a firm release date, most fans are willing to wait for a high-caliber final product. Given that fans have already patiently awaited the animation of this last arc for nearly ten years, is it really worth a few additional months to ensure the best possible release of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War?
