“Mob kara Hajime ga Eiyu Tan,” currently being made into a TV anime, is based on Kaito’s novel of the same name. Set in a dungeon that suddenly appears in the world, the story depicts Kaito Takagi, a high school student who is a so-called mob character who acquires a servant card. This scarce item can summon mythical beings and rise from the ranks of a “mob explorer.” Yuya Hozumi will play the main character, Kaito, and Kana Hanazawa will play the role of Valkyrie Sylphy, who is summoned from a servant card.
The director is Tomoki Kobayashi. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu composed the series. Shoko Yasuda designed the character. Keiji Inouchi composed the music. Gekiho produced the animation. Following this announcement, comments were received from Hosumi and Hanazawa. In the first PV, the character voices of Kaito, played by Yasumi, and Sylphy, played by Hanazawa, are revealed for the first time.
The first critical visual features the catchphrase, “We all started as mobs,” and images of Kaito holding an insecticide spray and Sylphy holding the divine spear, Lajunate. The anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account is holding a giveaway campaign where three people will be randomly selected to win a special colored paper signed by Hozumi.
