by The TV anime Grandpa and Grandma Rejuvenate aired its final episode, episode 11, “Grandpa and Grandma’s Winter Break,” on Sunday, June 16, at 12:30 am.
To commemorate the final episode’s broadcast, a new “final episode visual” has been released, and it has been decided that the final episode, “Grandpa and Grandma’s Winter Break,” will be rebroadcast on TOKYO MX. It is scheduled to be broadcast from 10:00 pm on Sunday, June 30. In addition, it has been decided that a reading play of the series “Grandpa and Grandma Rejuvenate” will be held at the Science Hall of the Science Museum in Tokyo on August 11.
The reading play will feature Shinichiro Miki (role of Shozo), Mamiko Noto (role of Ine), Shiori Mikami (role of Mino), and Nao Toyama (role of Shiori). The story will feature the warm and noisy days of the grandfather and grandmother and their grandchildren.
The eighth and final volume of the original comic will be released on Friday, June 21. In conjunction with the broadcast of the anime’s final episode, a “Promotional video just before the final episode” has been released on KADOKAWA’s official YouTube channel. (Already posted)

Episode 11 “Winter Break with Grandpa and Grandma” The Saito family is preparing for New Year’s as the year draws to a close. Shozo and Ine are busy pounding rice cakes, shoveling snow, and building a giant snowman for their grandchildren. Then, at the end of the year, Ine’s sister Tsuru and her children and grandchildren gather at Shozo’s house.

Shozo and Ine have been apple farmers in Aomori for decades and are so happy together that people around them call them a loving and devoted couple. One day, they try a mysterious apple they find in the fields. When they wake up the next day, they return to their younger selves! Shozo and Ine were once handsome and beautiful.
Their rejuvenated appearance shocks everyone around them, including their children and grandchildren. Despite this incredible miracle, Shozo and Ine continue to live their days at their own pace, as if they were old and beautiful. They remain as happy as ever, as a married couple, and more powerful than ever.
