by The second teaser PV has been released for the anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, every Saturday at 5:30 pm), which will start in April 2025.
This work is a complete anime adaptation of Gosho Aoyama’s manga of the same name 30 years after its completion.
Kurogane Yaiba trained in the jungle, aiming to become a true samurai. He returns to Japan by chance and ends up staying with the Mine family, who are related to his father, Kenjuro. Sayaka, the daughter of the Mine family, is confused by Yaiba’s unconventional behavior but begins living with him.
One day, Yaiba visits Sayaka’s school and has a fateful encounter with Takeru Onimaru, a skilled kendo practitioner. After that, Yaiba and Onimaru repeatedly clash, and as if responding to the two men’s desire for strength, an ancient power awakens. The “Raijinken” and the “Fujinken” – the magic swords that have shaken the heavens and the earth since ancient times are now awakened again, and the true story begins.
Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV broadcast the anime Detective Conan, also based on the original work by Gosho Aoyama, every Saturday at 6 pm. With the start of “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA,” the two anime works by Aoyama, which have different charms, action, and mystery, will be broadcast in one hour.
In the second teaser PV for “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA,” the main character Tetsujin (Takayama Minami), heroine Sayaka Mine (Iwami Manaka), and Yatsura’s rival Takeshi Onimaru (Hosoya Yoshimasa), as well as Yatsura’s father Tetsuken Juro (Konishi Katsuyuki) and swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (Suwabe Junichi), also appear.
Yatsura’s Raijinken and Onimaru’s Fuujinken are also featured, and the two sword-wielding swords are shown in dynamic images. How will the stories of Yatsura and Onimaru, who wield the pair of swords, begin? This PV gives a glimpse of the grand adventure Yatsura and his friends will embark on.
The anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV (excluding some regions) every Saturday at 5:30 pm starting in April 2025.
