Mark your calendars! The highly anticipated first-ever theatrical screening of the TV anime version of ‘Future Boy Conan’ has been confirmed. This unique event will take place for a limited time, screening at 61 theaters across Japan from May 24.

Hayao Miyazaki served as director for the first time, and all 26 episodes of “Future Boy Conan” were broadcast on NHK General from April 4, 1978, to October 31, 1978.”. A theatrical version of the TV series was released in 1979. This theatrical screening, which will be held to commemorate the stage adaptation of the same series, will feature episodes 1: “Nokosare Island,” 2: “Departure,” 3: “First Friends,” and 4: “Barracuda.” displayed on the screen. We also plan to distribute unique gifts to visitors. Details will be announced at a later date.

The play “Future Boy Conan” will be performed at Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Playhouse in Tokyo from May 28 to June 16 and at Umeda Arts Theater Theater Drama City in Osaka from June 28 to 30th. Seishiro Kato will play Conan, Yuka Kageyama will play Lana, Narukawa will play Jimsy, Mugi Kadowaki will play Montsouris, Shuntaro Miyao will play Dice, Tomohiko Imai will play Repka, and Kippei Shiina will play Grandpa Dr. Rao.
