This work is based on the manga “YAIBA” serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 39 in 1988 to issue 50 in 1993 by Gosho Aoyama, who has released many hit works such as ” Detective Conan, “Magic Kaito,” and “Ban 4 Third”. It is an action-packed story about the wild samurai Tetsujin (voiced by Minami Takayama), who seeks even greater strength and strives for his samurai spirit. It has 17 million copies published for all 24 volumes.
Based on this work, the TV anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA “has been airing on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV nationwide since the 5th at 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Kurogane Yaiba trained in the jungle, aiming to become a true samurai. He returns to Japan by chance and stays with the Mine family, who have ties to his father, Kenjuro. Sayaka, the daughter of the Mine family, is bewildered by Yaiba’s unconventional behavior but begins living with him. One day, Yaiba visits Sayaka’s school and has a fateful encounter with Onimaru Takeshi, a skilled kendo practitioner.
After that, Yaiba and Onimaru repeatedly clash, and as if in response to the two’s desire for strength, an ancient power awakens.
The “Raijinken” and “Fujinken,” the demonic swords that have shaken the heavens and the earth since ancient times, have awakened again, and the true story begins.
Episode 2: “The Resurrection of the Wind God Sword”
Hajime tries to get his attention to challenge Onimaru. Onimaru doesn’t pay him any attention, but a fight emerges when Shonosuke the Vulture chases Hajime out of the jungle and destroys his precious pigeon coop. Humiliated by Hajime’s shoddy sword, Onimaru is so frustrated that he destroys the lantern in his house.
