About the Earth’s Movement” is an anime based on the popular manga by Uo Yutaka, which has been serialized in “Weekly Big Comic Spirits” (Shogakukan) since 2020. Set in 15th-century Europe, when the geocentric theory was considered the truth of the world and even studying or believing anything that contradicted that theory was considered a serious crime, the story depicts the lives of those who risked their beliefs and their lives to prove the possibility of the heliocentric theory.

The opening theme song is “Kaiju” by Sakanaction. It is the band’s first TV anime theme song after a two-year hiatus and has received a great response. If you haven’t checked out the work yet, be sure to do so.
