New merchandise featuring the Nakano quintuplets dressed in traditional Japanese clothing from the TV special ” The Quintessential Quintuplets ” is now available. Acrylic stands and trading items are available.”The Quintessential Quintuplets” is a romantic comedy based on the manga of the same name by Haruma Negi, which ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine until February 2020.

The story follows the protagonist, Uesugi Fuutarou, who boasts top grades in his grade, as a tutor to the Nakano quintuplets. These beautiful girls hate studying and are on the verge of failing, and they need guidance through high school graduation. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2019, and the second season, “The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬,” aired from January to March 2021.

The story reaches its climax with the release of the film “The Quintessential Quintuplets,” which depicts the school festival, the final event of Fuutarou and the quintuplets’ high school life, in theaters on May 20, 2022.

“The Quintessential Quintuplets∽,” a film adaptation of original story episodes not depicted in the TV series, was released in July 2023, and “The Quintessential Quintuplets,” depicting Fuutarou and the quintuplets’ honeymoon arc, was released in September 2024. New merchandise, “Japanese Parfait Dress Ver.”, features newly designed illustrations of the Nakano quintuplets Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki—wearing gorgeous traditional Japanese attire. Each quintuplet is dressed in their unique Japanese attire and holding a spoon.

The cute, vibrant Japanese attire, combined with a retro feel, creates a fresh impression. The new merchandise includes a wide selection of classic items, such as acrylic stands, double acrylic key chains, 76mm glitter tin badges, B2 half-cut tapestries, and clear files. Trading items include trading tin badges, trading bromides, and trading acrylic cards. There’s also an acrylic diorama featuring the quintuplets.

The assembled size is approximately W155mm x H88mm, which looks just right for displaying on a desk. Pre-orders for each item are being accepted on Team Entertainment’s e-commerce site, “Team Store,” as well as at shops nationwide that sell goods and hobbies. They will go on sale in late September. At the “Team Store,” purchases of eligible products over 5,000 yen (tax included) will come with a bonus “A3 clear poster.”
