The second season of the anime ‘Dandadan’ has been confirmed! It will air in July 2025.

It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime Dandadan, which aired its final episode, will be broadcast nationwide in the Super Animeism TURBO slot in July 2025.

This work is a popular manga by Ryu Yukinobu, which has sold over 4 million copies and is currently being serialized (updated every Tuesday) in Shueisha’s manga app “Shonen Jump +.” Momo (Ayase Momo), a high school girl born into a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun (Takakura Ken), an occult enthusiast.

The two began talking after Momo saved Okarun from a bully in their class. Still, they got into an argument, with Momo believing in ghosts but denying aliens and Okarun believing in aliens but denying ghosts. To make them believe in aliens and ghosts, which they both deny, Momo goes to the ruins of a hospital that is a UFO spot, and Okarun goes to a tunnel that is a haunted spot.

There, the two encounter an overwhelming mystery that is beyond comprehension. Momo awakens her hidden powers in a desperate situation, and Okarun, who has acquired the power of a curse, challenges the approaching mystery! A fateful love story begins! An occult battle and youth story. Momo and Okarun arrive at the hot spring town where Jiji’s house is. Okarun and Jiji discover a room covered with talismans from Jiji’s house. Momo takes a bath in the hot spring to rest when a mysterious person appears, ending the first season of the TV anime “Dandadan.”

The only visual for the second season, which was released, shows an evil eye staring at Jiji standing in the center. The sinister atmosphere is dyed purple all over the place, foreshadowing the fierce battle that awaits Momo, Okarun, Jiji, and Turbo Granny.

Additionally, a mini-program called “Dandadan: Behind the Scenes,” featuring Wakayama Shion, who plays Momo, Hanae Natsuki, who plays Okarun, and director Yamashiro Fuuga (VTR), will air on Mainichi Broadcasting System from 1:53 am to 2:03 am on Friday, December 20th. They will talk about behind-the-scenes stories from the production site and during dubbing.
