This work is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Haruba Negi (serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine). In the first season, which aired this spring, the battle between the monsters and the Great Sentai for survival was actually a farce. The story was told by the protagonist, Combatant D, a low-ranking combatant of the Dusters who vowed to defeat the Great Sentai and infiltrated the Great Sentai in earnest.
The second season teaser is an excellent visual with a dark atmosphere, a stark change from the previous season.
