The TV anime series “Overlord” is based on a novel by Maruyama Kugane, which has sold over 14 million copies. “Overlord the Movie: Holy Kingdom Arc” was the first completely new film in the series, released in 2024.
The story begins when the Roble Holy Kingdom requests help from the Sorcerer Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown, where the adventurer Momon lives, to fight against the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth and the Demi-human Allied Army.
