The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, and throws himself into fighting demons. The sad story of humans and demons, the terrifying swordplay, the charming characters, and the occasional comical scenes have made the series a popular one.

The anime, animated by ufotable, has been running as a series since April 2019, when “TV Anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc” was released. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle, which depicts the story following the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Pillar Training Arc that began airing in May 2024, is being produced as a trilogy, with the first part, Akaza Returns, set to be released on July 18, 2025.

The final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons will begin in the demon’s base, Mugen Castle, where Tanjiro and his friends fell. In “Swordsmith Village: Bonds Connected Arc,” Tanjiro faces Upper Rank Four Hantengu and Upper Rank Five Gyokuro together with Tokito and Kanroji.
