by The fantasy manga ” Ugly Men Gachi Fighter ” has been decided to be made into a TV anime. In addition to Junichi Suwabe playing the role of the main character, Shigeru Yoshioka, a teaser visual has been released. Broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
The original work was serialized by Wosamu Kozuki in “Monthly Big Gangan” (Square Enix) from 2017 to 2021 and is a comic adaptation of a novel by Ryo Hiromatsu, who started on the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist.” Shigeru Yoshioka, a 34-year-old man falsely accused of a crime who has become distrustful of women, obtains parameters beyond human comprehension one day in exchange for his looks. It begins his second life as an “absolute god” in another world. There are six volumes in total.
The sequel “Ugly Men Gachi Fighter SSS” will start serialization in “Monthly Big Gangan” (2025 Vol.01), which will be released on December 25th. The TV anime version will be produced by EGGFIRM, the studio behind ” Mushoku Tensei II: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu.” The animation will be made by WHITE FOX, the studio behind ” Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- .” The teaser visual features Shigeru with the catchphrase, “And so, the ugly became an absolute god.” The full text of comments from Suwabe and other people involved in the original work is as follows.
