Illustrations have arrived from Gomzi, who is in charge of the character design for Kiyomi Mashiro, and comments from the cast members who will be playing the characters.

“Utahime Dream” is a media mix music project by Earth Star Entertainment that began in June 2023. The story depicts the passionate tale of the unique “Utahime,” who sing the divine songs of the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. They compete for the “Utahime Queen” title, using their singing and performance as weapons across various media. Mainly on the official YouTube channel, they have released a series of cover songs known as the “Divine Song Relay 100,” where each song is a unique interpretation of a classic. They have also developed original songs that reflect the spirit and energy of the project.

They sang the opening and ending themes for the TV anime “I Parry Everything ~The World’s Strongest Reverse Misunderstanding Wants to Be an Adventurer~” in July 2024. In addition, the manga “Utahime Dream” began serialization on February 13, 2025. The TV anime adaptation was announced at the biggest live event in the series’ history, “ANIMAX presents Utahime Dream’s Biggest 3rd Live A Major Announcement with Everyone on-site – supported by Lemino,” held at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on February 24.

A total of 29 songs were performed on the day, including the first performance by Takeuchi Yume as the new character SAKURAKO, the most ever. Towards the end of the show, a significant announcement was made, including the holding of the 4th live concert to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the “Utahime Dream” project, a tie-up with the TV anime to be broadcast in the fall of 2025, and the start of a new project, “Fure Fure, Kimi no Haru,” where songs will be performed in collaboration with several famous artists.

The concert ended with huge cheers from the audience. Gomez, who created the original character design for Mashiro Kiyomi, sent an illustration to celebrate the decision to make the anime.
