On September 4, TOKYO MX announced the reorganization for the October 2024 period. The catchphrase for the restructuring is “Anywhere! Mania 9.” As “MX of Anime,” anime will be one of the main focuses of the reorganization.

The “kids’ anime time slot,” previously set at 6:30 pm on weekdays, will be moved to 7 pm, expanding the time slot to about two hours from 7 pm to 8:57 pm. Anime that a wide range of generations can enjoy will be broadcast, such as “Gegege no Kitaro,” the ” PreCure ” series, and “Ojamajo Doremi.” Starting in October, a new anime slot will be created every Thursday at 9:25 pm during the prime time slot. The shows to be broadcast in the new anime slot will be announced in the future.

The much-talked-about “Lord and Dog” features Otsuka Akio, Sugita Tomokazu, Aiba Masaki, Takeuchi Shunsuke as Lords and a cute dog!

The “late-night anime slot” from 10 pm onwards will feature a lineup of famous works, including the third season of the TV anime “Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World (Re: Zero),” based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), which will start on October 2, as well as the second season of the TV anime “Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online (GGO),” which is based on a spin-off of Kawahara Reki’s famous light novel “Sword Art Online (SAO)” (Dengeki Bunko), which will begin airing on October 4.

They are also focusing on short anime. The second season of the TV anime ” Hyakusho Kizoku,” based on Arakawa Hiromu’s agricultural essay manga, will be broadcast every Friday from October 4 at 9:54 p.m. “Tono to Inu,” based on a popular comedy manga, will start on October 10.
