Some videos posted on YouTube have been viewed more than 4 million times, and many comments from overseas fans with high expectations have been added, making them seem like official content. “Berserk” is a dark fantasy work by Miura that depicts the journey of revenge of Guts, a swordsman who wields a giant sword taller than himself, set in a “world of swords and magic.” It has been adapted into a TV anime twice and a trilogy of theatrical anime films.

Since Miura’s sudden death in 2021, the series has been resumed with illustrations by Studio Gaga under the supervision of manga artist Kouji Mori, the only person who had heard the entire story from Miura to its conclusion.
