The TV anime “Murder Mystery of the Dead,” based on the experiential game “Murder Mystery,” will be broadcast. It will start on ABC TV and TOKYO MX on November 13, 2024. Murder Mystery is being made into an anime…!

“Murder Mystery” is one of the experiential games in which players become one of the characters and enter into a mystery, such as a murder case, and cooperate and sometimes conflict with each other to investigate the case. It is gaining popularity as a game following the “Werewolf Game” and “Escape Game,” which caused a huge boom, and many board game-type packages, real events, and film and stage adaptations are being actively produced.

“Murder Mystery of the Dead,” which has been decided to be made into a TV anime, is a package work created by Akiguchi Giguru and released by Group SNE/Kozaiku. Set in a world destroyed by a zombie pandemic, six girls take in the protagonist, and while developing a friendship with them, he solves the mystery that occurs in a closed space and tries to find out the truth.

The cast includes Moe Kahara, who played Shion Tanizaki in “Na Nare Hana Nare,” as the protagonist Mikoto Amano; Lynn, known for her role as Miorine Rembrandt in “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury,” Kiyono Yasuno, who played Megumi Kato in “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend” and Kaname Buccaneer in “Macross Delta,” Maki Kawase, Hikaru Tono, Maruka Asahina, and Tsubaki Makino, who will be making her debut in this work. A live special program featuring the main cast will be streamed on ABC Animation’s official YouTube channel from 1:00 pm on September 23.
