The TV anime ” Sailor Moon S ” will be rebroadcast on TOKYO MX on October 2, 2024. The third installment of the “Sailor Moon Series” aired from March 1994 to February 1995 and depicts the story corresponding to the “Death Busters Arc” of the original work.

“Sailor Moon S” begins when Sailor Moon’s future daughter Chibi-Usa returns to the future world, and Usagi, Rei, Ami, Makoto, Minako, and other Sailor Soldiers become third-year junior high school students and live peaceful lives. One day, the story begins when Rei, who has strong spiritual powers, has a nightmare in which the world is engulfed in darkness and collapses.

While trying to find the cause of the nightmare, Rei is attacked by a monster called Daimon, who a new enemy sends. Usagi rushes to the scene and transforms into Sailor Moon to fight Daimon, but the enemy’s mighty power destroys her transformation brooch. But at that moment, a mysterious new warrior defeats the Daimon. Seeing the crystal of pure heart that she has regained, she leaves, saying, “This is not a talisman.”

The Death Busters, who control the Daimon, the new warriors Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Moon, who the power of love has powered up. Thus begins a three-way battle over the “talisman” in the crystal of pure heart. In this work, the three outer solar system warriors, including new characters Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, who appeared in the previous work “R,” the enemy Death Busters, and the Sailor Team led by Usagi, engage in a fierce three-way battle over the existence of the doomed warrior Sailor Saturn.

Chibi-Usa, who returned to the future at the end of “R,” also reappears as Sailor Chibi Moon, an apprentice Sailor Warrior. In addition to the thrilling storyline, the 38 episodes are packed with highlights, including the appearance of super popular characters such as Tenno Haruka, Kaiou Michiru, and Tomoe Hotaru. In response to the rebroadcast, voice actress Ogata Megumi, who plays Tenno Haruka, also expressed her expectations of her X (formerly Twitter).
