The Apothecary Diaries is an anime based on Natsu Hinata’s novel of the same name. Set in the imperial harem, Nekoneko, a young pharmacist and “poison taster,” uses her knowledge of poisons and medicines to solve various complex cases in the palace one after another. The anime’s second season has aired for two consecutive seasons since January 2025.
ABEMA conducted an independent survey of the scenes that garnered the most comments from viewers from episode 32 (episode 8 of season 2), “The Empress Dowager,” aired on Friday, February 28th. The results have been published on the official ABEMA Anime Channel X as “The Top 3 Most Commented Scenes from Episode 32.”
