by The SPECIAL EDITION of Quick Japan Vol. 180 (Ohta Publishing), released on October 10th, will feature “Gintama Multiverse Anime: Ginpachi Sensei, Class 3-Z.” The cover will feature a newly drawn illustration.
“Gintama Multiverse Anime: Ginpachi Sensei, Class 3-Z,” which will begin airing on October 6th, is a multiverse story featuring characters from Hideaki Sorachi ‘s “Gintama.” The setting shifts from Edo to a school, celebrating a slightly unusual youth. This is the first time the “Gintama” series has appeared on the cover of Quick Japan in 16 years, since Vol. 86, released in 2009.
The SPECIAL EDITION will be sold exclusively at QJ Store and Animate. The special feature includes interviews with Tomokazu Sugita, who plays Ginpachi Sakata, the novelization’s author, Tomohito Osaki, and director Natsumi Higashida. After watching the first episode, actor and essayist Tan Nagai will also include a column looking back on her time as a girl in the Heisei era.
