‘Mobile Suit Gundam UC’ celebrates its 15th anniversary since its anime adaptation! All seven episodes, including episode 7, will be broadcast for four consecutive weeks.

Starting August 24th, BS12 TwellV will feature ” Mobile Suit Gundam UC ” for four consecutive weeks on its “Sunday Anime Theater” (Sundays at 7:00 PM), a program specializing in theatrical and feature-length animated films. From new and classic works to hidden gems, “Sunday Anime Theater” will broadcast a lineup of rare content rarely found on free-to-air channels, including theatrical and feature-length animated films, original video animations (OVAs), special editions edited for television, and even live-action “special edition” versions.

The “Mobile Suit Gundam UC” series, which will be broadcast on August 24th, premiered in theaters with the OVA “Episode 1” in 2010. A total of seven films were screened in theaters, up until “Episode 7″ in 2014. The format was subsequently restructured and introduced as the TV animation ” Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 .” To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the animation of this hugely popular work, all seven episodes will be aired over four weeks, from “Episode 1” released in 2010 to “Episode 7,” so be sure to tune in.

Synopsis
UC (Universal Century) 0001. The start of space immigration has been declared, and a new era is about to begin. At that time, a terrorist bombing destroys the Earth Federation Government Prime Minister’s official residence, a space station called Laplace, where a calendar reform ceremony is taking place. Siam Vist (voice: Nagai Ichiro ), a young man who joined the terrorists out of poverty, is caught up in Laplace’s explosion and discovers something in the wreckage. The secret of the box remains under Siam’s protection. UC0096. An industrial colony under construction (Industrial 7) floats above Lagrange Point 1. When Banagher Links (voice: Uchiyama Koki ), a boy who grew up without knowing his father, meets a mysterious girl who stowed away on a ship bound for Industrial 7, and various plots become entangled with the white mobile suit “Unicorn” undergoing repeated operational tests, the hands of history begin to move.

Banagher does not yet know that he will be embroiled in a conflict over Laplace’s Box. What is Laplace’s Box? What secret does the box hold? The 100-year curse of the Universal Century is about to be lifted.
