It has been announced that the TV anime “A Wild Last Boss Appeared!” will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels on Saturday, October 4, 2025. A second promotional video has also been released.

“A Wild Last Boss Has Appeared!” is a TV anime adaptation of a novel and comic book by Entou (original author), YahaKo (original illustrations and character designs), and Hazuki Tsubasa (comic artist).

In the year 2800 of the Midgard calendar, Ruphas Mafahl, feared by the people as the “Black-Winged Overlord,” comes to an end after a fierce final battle with the brave warriors known as the “Seven Heroes.” With the Overlord sealed away, it seemed as though an era of peace would arrive. But the balance of power was upset, and the world was exposed to the threat of the Demon Clan.

Two hundred years later, humanity attempts to summon a new hero to fight against the Demon Clan. However, the one who appears before them is the Overlord Ruphas, who has awakened from a long seal!

It was also announced that the ending theme for this work will be “Migihidari” by Nagase Yuka, a multi-artist active in both 2D and 3D. The song was written and composed by Meiyo, a singer-songwriter who has written music for numerous well-known artists. It is an alternative pop tune characterized by phrases that make you want to sing along and playful lyrics. Comments have also been received from Nagase Yuka and Meiyo, who wrote the lyrics and composed the music.

This song is by Meiyo, who has been kind to me for a long time, and it will be my first time singing an anime song. I am thrilled. The work has a profound story and many intense battles, so this song will serve as a way for everyone and the characters to relax and become like a radio exercise. Please put on your left and right earphones and enjoy!

“A wild final boss has appeared!” Congratulations again on the anime adaptation. I’m Meiyo, who wrote the lyrics and composed the ending theme “Migihidari.” Nagase Yuka sings it. I was fortunate enough to have her sing it because I had the opportunity to write a song for her while I was still an active indie artist. Director Horiuchi Yuya and I were actually classmates in high school. He was also a member of my first cover band. Now that we’ve both fought in our own fields, fate has drawn us together again, and the song “Migihidari” is a song based on a particular character, with mysterious wordplay and a unique, floating sound. Please look forward to it.

The second PV features the ending theme “Migihidari.” Stay tuned for more information on the TV anime “A Wild Last Boss Appeared!”
