The first trailer for the anime ” Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure ” has been released, announcing that it will begin streaming on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Visuals of new characters and cast information have also been revealed.

The grueling horse race across North America kicks off. Set in America in 1890, the story follows the “Steel Ball Run,” the first horse race across North America in human history, covering approximately 4,000 miles and featuring a total prize pool of $50 million. Johnny Joestar, once a genius jockey but now paralyzed and in despair, meets the mysterious outlaw Gyro Zeppeli. He finds hope in a mysterious phenomenon and decides to participate in the race.

The two, each with their own agendas, form a cooperative relationship and embark on a grueling adventure. Masaaki Mizunaka will play Sandman, and Kenichiro Matsuda will play Pokoroko. The newly released character visuals and cast information reveal details about the unique runners.

Masaaki Mizunaka will play Sandman, a young man who takes on the race using only his own leg strength to reclaim his tribe’s land. In contrast, Kenichiro Matsuda will play Pokoroko, a farmer who takes part in the race after being told of incredible good fortune by a fortune teller.
