Uzui Tengen (voiced by Konishi Katsuyuki), a character from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” is a popular figure known as the “ideal husband.” In episode 9 of the anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc,” an exchange between Uzui and his wife that is almost like a romantic one is depicted, something that is not in the original manga.

Uzui, the Sound Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, has three wives: Hinatsuru (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki ), Makio (voiced by Shizuka Ishigami), and Suma (voiced by Nao Toyama). In addition to being a handsome man, he never forgets to show kindness to his wives even during battle, which has led many fans to praise him as the “ideal husband.”

Episode 9 of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc” features an original flashback scene in which Uzui visits the graves of his wives. As the cherry blossoms bloom, Uzui smiles kindly at his wives and says, “For my (dead) siblings, I’ll live life to the fullest. With you guys.”

Uzui gently removed a petal from Hinazuru’s hair. Hinazuru looked happy and asked, “May I have that petal?” as she carefully picked it up. Makio (CV: Ishigami Shizuka) and Suma (CV: Toyama Nao) suddenly said, “Tengen-sama, I want one too!” and the cherry blossom viewing party suddenly became lively.
