Produced by A-1 Pictures, which handles “Sword Art Online” and “Lycoris Recoil,” the main cast will be Yui Ishikawa for 2B and Natsuki Hanae for 9S.
In addition, anime visuals and character PVs drawn by 2B and 9S will be released, and from October, five character visuals following 2B and 9S will be announced one after another.
“NieR: Automata” is an action RPG produced by Square Enix and developed by Platinum Games.
The stage is the distant future where humanity is fleeing to the moon in front of the overwhelming force of “machine lifeforms” unleashed by aliens. “2B,” belonging to the newly organized android unit “YoRHa,” will throw himself into a fierce battle to recapture the earth.
The game was released in February 2017 and has surpassed 6.5 million download sales worldwide.
