“T.P. Bon” is a science fiction manga that has been serialized in the manga magazine “Shonen World” (Ushio Publishing) since 1978, and “Comic Tom” to which the same magazine changed its name. It depicts the activities of the T.P. (Time Patrol) squad that appears.
After an ordinary junior high school student, Bon, meets Reem, a girl from the future, he embarks on a grand adventure to go back in time and change history to save those who have unfortunately died as members of the T.P. It was first made into an anime in 1989 as a short story, and will be made into an anime for the first time in about 35 years to commemorate Fujiko’s 90th birthday.
This is the first time it will be produced as a series of anime. Masahiro Ando, known for his work on “Hanasaku Iroha,” will direct, and Bonds, who has worked on “Eureka Seven” and “My Hero Academia,” will produce. Akihisa Wakayama plays the main character, an ordinary man, and Atsumi Tanezaki plays Ream Stream, a girl from the future who is a member of the T.P.
