by The full details of the anime ” World Trigger ” REBOOT project were revealed at the stage event for the series at “Jump Super Stage RIGHT” on December 20. The REBOOT project teaser movie was also released.
This anime is based on the manga of the same name by Daisuke Ashihara, which is currently being serialized in Jump Square (Shueisha). It depicts the elite of the border defense organization “Border” as they face off against the “Neighbors,” who possess unknown powers.
Announced on December 4, this project will be a completely new anime adaptation of the original manga, spanning from the first episode to “Enlisting in Border,” “The Neighbors’ Large-Scale Invasion,” and “The Beginning of the B-Rank Battles.”
Toei Animation will continue to produce the series, as they did with the second and third seasons, and it will be developed as an even more powerful “World Trigger 1st Season.”
The REBOOT project teaser movie was also shown for the first time on stage, and the video is currently available on YouTube.
Additionally, it has been decided that the “World Trigger Festival 2026” will be held on April 26, 2026. This will be the fourth time the event has been held, and the first in two years as a festival for fans.
The venue will be Kanadevia Hall (formerly Tokyo Dome City Hall). Details such as performers and ticket information will be announced in January 2026.
