“Witch Watch” is based on a popular manga currently being serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine, which has sold over 3 million copies. Nico (CV: Kawaguchi Rina), who is training to become a witch, ends up living with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi (CV: Suzuki Ryota ), a high school student with the powers of a demon.
Nico is excited to be reunited with her childhood friend. At the same time, Morihito has a mission as a familiar to protect Nico from a predicted disaster—unpredictable troubles caused by Nico’s magic, a boy and a girl of marriageable age living together.
This fantastical, magical comedy by Kenta Shinohara, who also worked on “SKET DANCE” and “Astra Lost in Space,” depicts the mysterious and challenging days ahead.
