On the 7th, Nippon Television held a reorganization briefing session for Spring 2024, and the seventh season of the TV anime “My Hero Academia” was explained.

The seventh season of the latest series, “My Hero Academia,” will be broadcast on May 4. On April 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, “My Hero Academia Memories” presents important stories that lead to the seventh season, which will be broadcast all four times, with new scenes.

Yomiuri TV producer Hiroya Nakata said, “After airing the 4th episode, which includes emotional production, we will broadcast the 7th season from the beginning of May. It’s the 10th anniversary of Hero Academia. There will also be a 4th movie version. It will be released on August 2, and the original work is currently reaching its climax, so I think it will be a “Heroaka” year both in Japan and overseas. That’s right, and I hope everyone, including those who haven’t seen it yet, will enjoy it.”

The story of the 7th season starts from episode 329 of the 34th volume of the original comic. At the end of his lonely battle, Deku receives the thoughts of his classmates and renews his resolve to “fight not alone, but together.” Even though he is about to be taken in by the great evil All for One, Shigara Kisuke pushes forward, believing that he will “destroy everything.” The heroes and the enemy villains, centered on these two, are finally heading to the final battle.

This work is based on a popular manga that has sold over 85 million copies and is set in a world where the existence of people with supernatural abilities called “quirks” is commonplace. It is a story about growing up with your friends at Yuei High School, a prestigious school for developing heroes, to become a “hero” who can protect the world and stand up against criminal “enemies” (villains) who abuse their individuality.

It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The first season of the TV anime started in April 2016, and a theatrical version was released.

The fourth movie version of “My Hero Academia, THE MOVIE” will be released in the summer of 2024. On May 4 of the same year, the first episode of the seventh season of the TV anime (139 episodes) will be broadcast on Yomiuri Television and Nippon Television.

The station’s goals for the reorganization include, “By shifting the audience rating target to the “core” in principle, we will strengthen the production of more attractive content.” “We will add distribution as a new goal, aiming to be the top in both “broadcasting” and “distribution.” “Promoting the return to terrestrial broadcasting,” the reorganization rate was 5.7% for all day, 10.8% for the golden zone, and 16.7% for the prime zone.
