A collaboration between the popular anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” and 7-Eleven will begin at 7:00 AM on the 14th. The campaign is offering an original 7-Eleven prize when you purchase two eligible items.
Posters and A4 clear files are available for the first 20 customers, with four of each of the five new “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” illustrations released. They feature five designs of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Tomioka, Kanao, and Shinobu.
The illustration features a scene of Tanjiro and friends enjoying a meal at a teahouse, and Seven Net exclusive merchandise will also be available. Trading tin badges, acrylic stand dioramas with backgrounds, and acrylic blocks will be available.
The newly drawn illustration has garnered excited comments online, such as, “Wait, Giyuu’s smiling!?”, “Who’s that? Thank you for creating this beautiful woman looking back!”, “Shinobu’s kimono pattern is so cute, and most of all, her beautiful face as she turns around is so beautiful, and on top of that, the apron…the frills…my heart’s been beating fast since this morning…”, “Shinobu-sama in an apron (nosebleed)”, and “Giyuu’s mouth corners are turning up…?” “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is based on a hugely popular manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. Set in a world inhabited by man-eating demons during the Taisho era, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, back into a human, and defeats the demon that killed his family. The manga has sold over 220 million copies worldwide.
The TV anime “Tanjiro Kamado: Resolve Arc” aired from April to September 2019, generating a huge buzz, and the movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train ” was released in October 2020. It became a social phenomenon, grossing over ¥51.7 billion worldwide. It was subsequently adapted into a game and a stage play, with the TV anime “Entertainment District Arc” airing in December 2021, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” in April 2023, and the “Hashira Training Arc” from May to June 2024.
The movie ” Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle ” was then produced as a trilogy, and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc – Chapter 1: Akaza Returns” depicts Tanjiro and the “Demon Slayer Corps” facing their nemesis, Muzan Kibutsuji, and the Upper Rank demons in the demon’s base, “Infinity Castle. ” Currently showing in 452 theaters (393 regular theaters + 59 IMAX theaters).
