“Twilight Out Focus” will begin airing on July 4. In the first episode, Tsuchiya Mao shares a room with Otomo Hisashi, a delinquent and lone wolf, in a dormitory at a boys’ school. The two make three promises: “They won’t tell anyone that Hisashi is gay and has a boyfriend,” “Hisashi won’t see Mao as a romantic interest or make a move on her,” and “They won’t get in the way of each other’s masturbation,” and get along well as roommates. However, in the spring of her second year of high school, Mao decides to make a movie with a BL theme as part of her film club activities.
After the director asks her to make Hisashi the main character, Mao can’t take her eyes off Hisashi.
“Twilight Out Focus” is a BL story depicting high school boys’ youth and love lives in the film club. The original work is serialized in Kodansha’s digital BL magazine HoneyMilk. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka plays Mao Tsuchiya, and Yuuma Uchida plays Hisashi Otomo.
