In episode 12, Nekoneko, who had been fired from the harem, was working in the entertainment district again when she happened to meet Jinshi again. Jinshi had assumed that Nekoneko hated working in the harem, so he seemed relieved to hear her true feelings. Perhaps his feelings had softened, as he tried to touch Nekoneko, saying, “It’s okay if I touch you a little,” and “Just one hand. Just the fingertips.”
When Nekoneko conceded, “Just the tips of my fingers,” Jinshi gently touched Nekoneko’s lips and then kissed her fingers. Nekoneko usually brushes off Jinshi’s teasing, but this “indirect kiss” seemed to be irresistible. When Jinshi, whose lipstick had been transferred to her, smiled gently at her, she blushed and said, “It’s contagious…!”
