A limited-time theme park called “JOJO WORLD 3,” where you can experience the world of the anime “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” will be held at Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. It will run from April 4th to June 1st, 2025.
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” is a representative manga by Hirohiko Araki that began serialization in the combined 1st and 2nd issues of “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1987. The series has sold over 120 million copies, and its impressive poses, innovative onomatopoeia, distinctive dialogue, and original worldview are popular worldwide.
The 9th part, “The JOJOLands,” is currently being serialized in “Ultra Jump.” In 2012, the 25th anniversary of the original manga’s serialization, the first and second parts of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” were broadcast as television animation. The anime expression, which does not lose the charm of the original, such as incorporating the handwritten characters of the manga as character effects, scene characteristics, and cut characteristics, became a hot topic. After that, the 6th part of the original was produced and broadcast.
The anime series celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022. In this “JOJO WORLD 3”, attractions, mini-games, etc., are all new content. There will be a lineup of four attractions. In “Special Training! Joseph and Caesar’s Ripple Training!” participants will be allowed to take on challenges that require the use of the whole body under the guidance of Joseph and Caesar. After the challenge, participants will receive a “ribbon bracelet” (four types in total) as a special gift.
In “Escape from the Nightmare World: Time for Punishment, Baby,” participants will work with Kakyoin Noriaki to escape a nightmare. Participants will receive a ticket-style card (five types in total). In “Morioh Town Stroll Mission Rally: Josuke Higashikata’s Strange Day,” participants will be guided around a venue that resembles Morioh Town, the setting of Part 4. Using headphones and a unique tablet, participants will be able to try mini-games. After the challenge, participants will be presented with a Morioh Town resident certificate and a Morioh Town resident card (six types in total).
In “Passione Special Mission: Next Mission,” participants will carry out missions as either the Bucciarati or assassin teams. After the challenge, participants will receive a random message letter from the team’s instructor. There are six types of letters for the Bucciarati team and seven types for the Assassin team.
All the attractions’ prizes are distributed randomly and cost 1,100 yen per turn. There are three types of mini-games with prizes. “Joestar Family Dinner: British Gentleman’s Table Manners Roulette” offers an award for acrylic boards (12 types in total), a B prize for acrylic stands (12 types in total), and a C prize for die-cut stickers (24 types in total).
