The anime series ” Fist of the North Star ” has been announced to be broadcast and distributed in 2026, and the first key visual of the main character, Kenshiro, has been unveiled.

The series is a re-animation of the popular manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (published by Shueisha) by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara from 1983 to 1988. It depicts the legend of Kenshiro, the heir to the Hokuto Shinken, who bears seven scars on his chest, symbolizing his role as the savior of the century at the end of the century.

The re-animation will faithfully recreate the world of the manga “Fist of the North Star” with a new staff and cast utilizing the latest video technology.

The teaser PV and main cast information for the series will be announced at a stage event at the North American anime convention “Anime Expo 2025,” to be held in Los Angeles, USA, in the early morning of July 6th (Japan Standard Time).
