The anime “Rurouni Kenshin” is based on the manga by Watsuki Nobuhiro, which has sold over 72 million copies. The previous anime series was broadcast in 1996, followed by OVAs and movies. In 2023, a new TV anime series with a completely new staff and cast was broadcast in July 2023, with the first season consisting of 24 episodes. The second season is currently airing from October 2024.
Episode 26 “Meiji Tokaido”
Megumi left alone in Tokyo, encounters Soshi at the Kamiya Dojo, who has come to seek a rematch with Kenshin. Soshi asks Megumi where Kenshin is.
