Spread the love

The second episode of the anime “Whispering Love” will be broadcast sequentially from April 20th. The natural devilish behavior of a junior who makes a senior in love with him eat pasta while saying “ah” has viewers captivated with comments such as “Cute violence” and “He’s magical.”

The anime ‘Whispering Love’ is not your typical high school romance. It’s a girl band love story based on the manga by the same name, Eku Takeshima, which won first place at the Yuri Manga Award 2020. The narrative starts when first-year high school student Himari Kino (CV: Hana Shimano) is smitten by the band ‘SSGIRLS’ at a welcome party for new students. She falls head over heels for Asanagi (CV: Masami Seto ), the guitarist and vocalist. Get ready for a unique blend of music and romance!

In the first episode of the previous broadcast, Himari was fascinated by the performance of “SSGIRLS” and confessed, “I want to hear Yori-senpai’s songs every day! I’m obsessed with him!” There was also a scene where she begged Yori with an upturned look, saying, “I’m selfish, but I’d like to hear just one song from my senior.”

Himari, with her innocent personality, is a stark contrast to the aloof Yori. Viewers were particularly drawn to Himari’s direct expression of her feelings, commenting, ‘The power of that upward look is so intense,’ and ‘If you look up at me like that, it changes everything, “She was so cheerful and cute!! She looked like a dog.’ This character development adds depth to the story and keeps the viewers hooked.

In the latest episode 2, “Suki, Date, and…”, Himari and Yori went on a weekend date for the first time. While eating at her restaurant, Himari tried to feed her pasta with her fork, asking, “Would you like a bite?” “Yes, please.” Yori ate the pasta even though she was upset and said, “Oh no!” Viewers were captivated by Himari’s devilish behavior, saying things like, “Oh, that’s crazy!”, “She’s charming in her violence”, and “She’s a natural woman…she’s magical.”
