Kansai becomes a vassal state of Kanto and develops independently, but its politics and police force decline, and criminals called “Akudama” become rampant.
This is a crime action movie in which Akudama and his friends engage in flashy battles involving “ordinary people” over a vast reward of “100 million yen” bet on a particular person’s rescue request. This work is an original TV anime produced by the game “Danganronpa” scenario writer Kazutoshi Kodaka and the character designer Rui Komatsuzaki, who teamed up to produce it again. It won the “Anime of the Year” award and will be adapted into a stage play in 2022.
