by Virtual dark singer Isekai Joso will release her latest EP, “Genshiroku,” on February 25, 2026.
This six-track EP will feature theme songs for two anime series, both scheduled to begin airing in January 2026. The opening theme for the TV anime ” The Magician Kunon Can See ” is “Lachenaria no Yume,” and the opening theme for the TV anime “Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary” is “Maboroshi no Yukue .” Of particular note is the inclusion of collaborations with the voice actors playing the main characters in each anime.
The album features acoustic versions with guest vocalists Saori Hayami (Kunon) and Ansaki Tachibana (Kaya-chan), resulting in a luxurious fusion of Isekai Joso’s musical world and the series’ appeal. The EP will be released in two formats: a standard edition (¥2,750) and a special edition (¥5,500).
The Kanyame version includes an original plush pouch sized to fit an Isekai Shoso plush toy, a special box, and a production number. In addition, purchasers of the standard version at participating companies will receive a serial number for a lottery entry into their first-ever release event. Additionally, she has announced her first two-day live performance at Zepp Haneda on May 1st and 2nd, 2026. Her first solo concert in about a year and a half will be a conceptual performance that sets her apart from her previous shows. DAY-1, “Flower Closet,” will be themed around “costumes,” expanding the world of her music in multiple layers. Just as her outfits tell a story, her world blossoms on stage. DAY-2, “Anima Re: birth,” will be a complete re-performance of her first solo live performance, “Anima,” held without an audience in October 2021, with an audience, nearly five years later.
The performance will recapture the growth and development she has accumulated since then in a way that only she can deliver today. This will be a rare opportunity to experience the completely different stories depicted on two stages. Isekai Joso debuted in December 2019 from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO. As a virtual dark singer who weaves new stories of darkness and light with her powerful yet ephemeral voice, she is active not only as a singer but also in various other fields, such as illustration, narration, and voice acting.
