The second season of the TV anime, The Golden Land of the Fiery Sun, aired in 2022, and a sequel to the series, an animated film series, has been announced. Part 1, Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery, is scheduled for release in 2026. Kinema Citrus, which has worked on many popular titles such as The Rising of the Shield Hero and My Happy Marriage, will continue to produce the animation.
The latest Volume 14 of the Made in Abyss manga will be released on August 8th. Special bonuses such as visual boards will be available at Animate and other stores. A Made in Abyss Bondrewd pop-up store (tentative title) is currently in the planning stages and is scheduled to open this fall.
